Simply the best
The two most important factors that have allowed me to excel as an Italian-to-English translator are: (1) my strong academic background or experience in the specialties in which I translate, and (2) pride in reputation. If customers have decided to invest in professional translation, they will be expecting results. Errors are not allowed in this business so you have to be willing to go the extra mile and deliver quality.
Challenging work I have done
Clinical records of cancer patients - 500,000 words
Life Sciences - Medical translation - Clinical Trials
Source documents were pdf and for privacy, purposes had to be transcribed in-house. The entailed creating a large glossary of medical terminology and the use of Computer-Aided Translation tools to guarantee perfectly consistent use of terminology- The job was translated, edited, proofed, and delivered within the customer's deadline. End-customer name protected by NDA.

Pectin Production Facility
Prior to plant startup, I was asked to translate the detailed chemical plant safety program. In addition to safety, the task also involved on-site interpreting related to modifications to the plant process and revamping work.
Every quarter, listed companies find themselves in an incredible rush to translate their financial reports to meet tight reporting deadlines. On-time delivery demands teams of translators working in unison consistently translating hundreds and sometimes thousands of specific financial terms consistently and correctly throughout very large financial documents without making the slightest error. The Banca Fideuram job was unique in how a large team of translators was able to coordinate their work so closely. The job was facilitated by the frequent exchange of software and the use of specific software, I got along well with the project manager because he, like I, was meticulous about terminology and meaning. This was the best managed financial translation in which I have ever participated.
