About me

I began my professional career as a bioenvironmental engineer with the USAF in Sicily where, after meeting my wife, I settled down. After my service, I worked as an engineer and consultant in the local economy and discovered that my language skills were in high demand, consequentially, I added translation and interpreting to my professional repertoire.

I opened a studio named Real Bridges and worked with other collaborators offering a variety of services, managing diversified projects including conducting a good portion of the legwork needed to open ten photovoltaic plants in Sicily for Austrian investors, participating in site visits by American companies who ultimately purchased chemical plants in Sicily, performing thousands of translation projects for agencies and private customers all over the world, and conducting market research for Sicilian companies selling items such as coffee, lava-stone products, wine, olive oil, and produce.

Real Bridges localized a suite of fire protection software products for covering both Italian and NFPA standards from Italian into both Spanish and English. This is the type of work I do.
